4:3 aspect ratio for Diablo 2 LOD
=================================

1. Unzip "gl32ogl14e.zip"
2. Move all the files you just unzipped to your Diablo 2 (Spirit of Diablo) folder where Diablo II.exe is
3. Open "glide-init.exe"
4. click on "Deutsch/English" to get the menus in English
5. click on "settings"
6. Check "desktopresolution"
7. Click "Quit"

If you didn't make a shortcut to Diablo II.exe during the mod installation,
make one now and rename it to something like "Diablo II SOD".

(steps 8 to 11 are only needed for Diablo 2 LOD version 1.14)

8. Right click on your "Diablo II SOD" (Spirit of Diablo) shortcut.
9. Select "Propreties"

10. In the "Target" box, add " -3dfx" (without the quotes, but keep the space before the -3dfx)
at the very end of the line, right after "C:\...\Diablo II.exe"
    It should look like this : "C:\...\Diablo II.exe" -3dfx

11. This shortcut will now launch Diablo 2 in 4:3 fullscreen mode.

12. Open Diablo 2 with the shortcut and adjust gamma / contrast

This mod is meant to be played with the lights off at night or with the curtains closed during the day.

The difference between black bars are the side (no image) and the darkness outside the light radius
should be relatively small. There should be little difference between the black bar at the top and the
darkness outside the light radius, except if you are in a well lit area (torches, fire...)

If the black bar at the top looks too visible, chances are you need to adjust your gamma / contrast.
I suggest to start by boosting the contrast and then turning the gamma down a little if the light is
    too blinding.

    See video_settings1.jpg / video_settings2.jpg for settings examples.
Results may vary depending on your monitor and other factors.
