Search for Cain:

  • Akara gives you Unidentified Ring as a quest reward

The Forgotten Tower:

  • Removed Tower Cellar sublevels
  • Countess drops up to Thul rune in Normal, up to Um rune in Nightmare, and up to Zod rune in Hell

Tools of the Trade:

  • Infinite Imbue: Charsi now charge gold for every imbuing after the quest is completed

Sisters to the Slaughter:

  • Replaced Catacombs level 2 waypoint with Catacombs level 4 waypoint
  • Now Andariel drops 3 Gem Piles instead of gems

Act 2

The Horadric Staff:

  • Replaced Halls of the Dead Horadric Cube chest with sparkly chest

Arcane Sanctuary:

Skill Changes

Assassin

Traps:

  • Fire Blast - doubled synergy from fire traps
  • Blade Sentinel - removed next hit (which allowed sentinel to hit only once a second) and decreased cooldown (with invested hard points)
  • Wake of Fire - increased damage and synergy
  • Wake of Inferno - increased damage and synergy
  • Blade Shield - decreased interval between hits as you invest more hard points

Shadow Disciplines:

  • Psychic Hammer - increased damage and added synergy from Mind Blast
  • Burst of Speed - adds FHR synergy to Cloak of Shadows
  • Weapon Block - added hidden bonus (+0.5 chance to block for hard point) and adds faster block rate synergy to Cloak of Shadows
  • Cloak of Shadows - added new bonuses dependent on points invested into BoS and Weapon Block, duration doesn't increase with more points invested
  • Fade - displayed hidden attribute (+1 physical resistance per level)
  • Mind Blast - increased radius with hard points, increased damage and damage synergy from Psychic Hammer
  • Venom - added synergy from Cobra Strike

Martial Arts:

  • Fists of Fire - increased explosion radius with hard points
  • Blades of Ice - increased explosion radius with hard points
  • Dragon Flight - decreased cooldown with hard points (with value of 0 at level 20)
  • All charge-up skills: added self synergy (20% AR for hard point)

Barbarian

Warcries:

  • Find Potion - increased chance for rejuv - 50% rejuv, 25% health, 25% mana, passive effect - mana and life leech 1% per hard point + damage goes to mana 2% per hard point)
  • Find Item - +1% chance per hard point (total theoretical cap is now 80%)
  • Grim Ward - fleeing enemies are slowed by 75%
  • Battle Command - new bonus dex and str +2 per lvl, experience gained + 0.5% per hard point, gold find +10% per hard point, magic find +3% per hard point (and synergies - +0.5% exp gained per hard point in Grim Ward, +20% gold find per hard point in Find Potion, +3% magic find per hard point in Find Item)

Combat Skills:

  • Leap Attack - increased base and synergy dmg bonus
  • Stun - doubled stun length and increased AR bonus
  • Double Throw - +20% base and 10% dmg per level
  • Frenzy - duration length +0.4s per hard point, new synergy from Increased Stamina + 0.8s duration / hard point, new synergy from Increased Speed - increases attack speed by 1% per hard point

Masteries:

  • Increased Stamina - new bonus + life and mana regen per hard point
  • Increased Speed - new bonus + 3% FHR per hard point
  • Iron Skin - new bonus physical damage reduced by 1 per hard point
  • Natural Resistance - new bonus magic damage reduced by 1 per hard point

Druid

Summoning:

  • Raven - higher damage, hits more times, number of ravens is based on skill level without cap, new synergy from Heart of Wolverine (damage and attack rating - as if it was affected by its aura), new synergy from Spirit Wolf (velocity) and Grizzly (crushing blow)
  • Poison Creeper - poison duration gets lower with more points, damage over time remains the same (so the damage is stronger), number of vines increased, new synergy from Rabies
  • Summon Spirit Wolf - adds new synergy to all animals - increased velocity
  • Carrion Vine - can be summoned up to 3 times at once, has Prayer aura
  • Solar Creeper - can be summoned up to 3 times at once, has Meditation aura
  • Spirit of Barbs - fixed thorn damage, so that real and displayed thorns damage match (doubled damage)
  • Grizzly - adds new synergy to all animals - crushing blow
  • All summons can be summoned at once

Shapeshifting:

  • Werebear - doubled defense bonus
  • Feral Rage - increased duration (+2s per hard point)
  • Maul - increased duration (+2s per hard point)
  • Rabies - poison damage has half its original duration, damage over time preserved (damage over second is doubled)
  • Hunger - increased base damage, also increases per hard points, better attack rating

Elemental:

  • Firestorm - Fissure increases number of fire missiles instead of pure fire damage
  • Fissure - new synergy from Molten Boulder, increases number of fissures
  • Twister - lower next delay
  • Tornado - lower next delay
  • Volcano - added synergy from Firestorm (fire dmg), changed synergy from Armageddon - leads to larger radius and more fire lumps thrown per second
  • Hurricane - new synergy from Arctic Blast which increases radius, duration increases with more points into this skill
  • Armageddon - slightly modified synergies, duration increases with more points into this skill
  • All elemental skills - lower delay with more invested points

Necromancer

Summoning:

  • Summon Skeleton Mage - increased damage per hard point
  • Clay Golem - has new synergy - Confuse, which provides him Blessed Aim aura
  • Blood Golem - has new synergy - Life Tap, which provides him Prayer aura
  • Iron Golem - has new synergy - Iron Maiden, which provides him Thorns aura
  • Fire Golem - has new synergy - Dim Vision, which increases his Holy Fire aura level
  • Golem Mastery - increases also golem damage
  • Summon Resist - increases also physical resistance (2% per hard point) for all summons
  • Revive - increased duration (20s per hard point), has new synergy - Terror, which also increases its duration
  • All golems can be summoned at once

Poison & Bone:

  • Teeth - canceled next hit (so you can hit a monster with more than one tooth at once)
  • Bone Armor - +10% damage absorbed per hard point
  • Poison Dagger - had new synergy - Attract, which decreases its poison duration (but preserves the overall damage)
  • Poison Explosion - has new synergy - Attract, which decreases its poison duration (but preserves the overall damage)

Curses:

  • Weaken - decreases monster's damage per hard point
  • Decrepify - radius increases with skill level, has new synergies - Amplify Damage, which decreases monster's physical resistance, and Weaken, which decreases monster's damage

Paladin

Combat Skills:

  • Sacrifice - new synergy from Prayer - increases dmg% and decreases dmg to self
  • Holy Bolt - now hits any creature, not only undeads
  • Conversion - added AR bonus
  • Fists of Heaven - base cooldown decreased from 25 (1 second) to 20 frames (0.8 second), every hard point decreases cooldown by 1 frame (so totally to 0 seconds with 20 hard points - no cooldown!)

Offensive Auras:

  • Holy Fire, Holy Freeze, Holy Shock - new synergy from Salvaton - higher frequency of area effect (in vanilla it applies only once in 2 seconds, now it is possible to make it apply approximately once in 0.6 second)
  • Blessed Aim - added deadly strike chance, hit blinds target and open wounds
  • Sanctuary - fixed (so that +%dmg and +%ar against undead monsters apply correctly), new synergy from Conversion - higher frequency of area effect

Defensive Auras:

  • Defiance - now provides physical damage reduced by x (passive - physical resistance)
  • Prayer - doubled heal bonus + added self synergy for higher heal frequency (doesn't apply to Cleansing and Meditation) (passive - life % bonus)
  • Cleansing - (passive - max poison resists)
  • Meditation - now also provides damage taken goes to mana (passive - faster hit recovery)
  • Redemption - self synergy - higher frequency of area effect (passive - life + mana on kill)
  • Salvation - now also provides magic damage reduced by x (passive - fire & cold & lightning absorb %)
  • Resist Fire + Resist Cold + Resist Lightning - hidden passive bonus (to max resistances) now visible
  • All defensive auras (excluding Vigor) now work as a passive skill

Sorceress

Lightning Skills:

  • Telekinesis - can pick up any item from ground
  • Static Field - works at 50% on all difficulties
  • Thunder Storm - added 15% dmg synergy from Static Field, synergy from Teleport (decreases interval between hits)

Cold Skills:

  • Frozen Armor - increased freeze length (1s per lvl). +1 max cold res for each hard point. Increased % def for level (5->10%)
  • Shiver Armor - increased dmg, chill length decreased to minimum (2 frames - can be increased by investing into Frozen Armor, up to 25,6s (maximum)). Decreased base defense (45->20%)
  • Chilling Armor - the same as Shiver Armor
  • All three armors can be applied at once

Fire Skills:

  • Inferno - increased synergies
  • Blaze - removed Fire Wall synergy, increased Warmth synergy. Increased duration (up to 40s), added 1s duration for hard point (so max duration is 60s)
  • Fire Wall - increased synergy from Inferno (1%->6%)
